Job Description

As a Backend Developer with DevOps expertise, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of our cutting-edge platform. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend services using NestJS, while also optimizing and streamlining our DevOps processes on AWS to ensure the platform's scalability, security, and reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NestJS, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.


• Collaborate closely with the frontend development team to design and implement APIs and backend solutions that align with our product roadmap.


• Optimize and scale backend systems to accommodate growing user demand.


• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and ensure smooth releases. ● Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution.


• Work the DevOps infrastructure to configure and maintain our Docker, and AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services.


• Implement security best practices to protect user data and ensure compliance with industry standards.


• Work closely with other developers to integrate new features and enhancements seamlessly into the platform

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)


• Proven experience working with NestJS and building scalable backend systems


• Strong expertise in AWS services, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.


• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.


• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.


• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.


• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.


• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems.


• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


• Nice to have: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).


• Familiarity with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.


• Knowledge about Scripting skills in languages like Python or Bash.


• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
