We are looking for Site Reliability Engineer Level III

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of one or more of our services


• Gain deep knowledge of our complex applications. Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth


• Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with "operability" in mind


• Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment


• Be a team player


• Work in agile, scrum driven fast throughput environment

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 - 7 years of related work experience
  


• Experience with Kubernetes and Microservices


• Container technologies like Docker


• Experience with existing open-source projects such as docker-compose, ZooKeeper, and Kafka


• Recent large-scale experience with configuration management using tools such as Salt stack, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet


• Expertise using Linux command line


• Can write code using bash scripting, PowerShell, python or GO


• Experience with Mesh Networking and debugging


• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis, or GitHub Actions


• Knows how to use GitHub


• Developing, running, and/or consuming cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Google Cloud Platform


• Experience trouble-shooting that span systems, network (TCP/IP), and code


• Strong understanding and working knowledge of networking principles and OS operation and maintenance


• Familiarity with load balancing principles and API Gateways


• Familiarity with config management


• Strong interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing) and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other SREs, Engineers, Product Managers, etc


• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in computer science.
