Job Responsibilities

 

• Ensure availability of the application as per the SLA/LOA


• Ensure an acceptable latency and good performance of the components of the application


• Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, anticipating performance bottlenecks.


• Plan and execute configuration management.


• Ensure an effective monitoring. Build monitoring alerts and dashboard with Azure Application insights and work with Dynatrace team to build effective monitoring


• Administration of Kubernetes namespaces for FLM on Docker EE and on AKS


• Administration of the Azure Platforms (Azure Function, Azure Service Bus, Azure Cache)


• Build effective infrastructure as a code using Terraform


• Ensure optimized cost management and implement cost dashboard and alerts


• Automate processes for reliability


• Execute Database refresh on lower environments every quarter


• Capacity Planning.


• Disaster Recovery Management & Implementing DR procedures in the event of a trigger 


• Execute Dry run and monitor changes.


• Implement and maintain the DevOPS configurations.


• Implement Build and release pipelines, maintain configurations and setup automation around the release process


• Implement and Maintain the QP express


• Ensure effective service management, work with infrastructure and Cloud teams on the system updates, patches, etc


• Build and maintain an inventory of the system components, firewall requirements, cloud configurations


• Monitor the integrations with SAP and other systems and build alerts in case of failures


• Execute application administration and database script execution on releases and in case of data fixes required in Production

Job Requirements

 

• 5 years of experience with any of the following qualification. BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology OR MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology


• Fluent in one or more of: Shell, Python, PowerShell, java script, Go


• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in engineering


• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis


• In-depth knowledge of operating systems (processes, threads, IPC, concurrency, locks, mutexes, semaphores, etc.)


• Experience working with Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, with experience working with system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols


• Experience with network protocols and theory (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing, etc.


• Experience with Azure DevOPS


• Experience on Databases management prefer on SQL and MongoDB


• Experience on Kubernetes and on Azure platforms


• Systematic problem-solving approach
