We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS and other cloud providers. If you're passionate about streamlining development processes, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of deployments, we want you to join our team.

As a DevOps Engineer - Cloud Deployment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our software development lifecycle by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment workflows. Your expertise in DevOps best practices, AWS security, and Terraform will enable us to achieve faster and more reliable releases.

Job Responsibilities

 

• GitHub Workflow Automation: Design and configure automated GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD pipelines


• Implement version control best practices and ensure code quality throughout the


• Development process: Cloud Deployment:


• Architect, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS and other cloud platforms


• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.


• Manage and configure cloud services, including compute, storage, and networking.


• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform: Use Terraform to define infrastructure as code, enabling reproducibility and scalability.


• Maintain infrastructure code repositories and keep them up to date.


• Containerization: Build and manage Docker containers for applications.


• Implement container orchestration where needed for specific projects.


• AWS Security: Implement robust security measures in AWS environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and security group configurations.


• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.


• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of deployed applications.


• Set up alerts and automated responses to address issues proactively.


• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the deployment process.


• Provide support to troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or
  
  equivalent experience).


• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with minimum of 5 years.\


• Strong proficiency with GitHub Actions and version control systems (Git).


• Expertise in cloud computing platforms, especially AWS.


• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform


• Familiarity with containerization (Docker).


• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.


• Solid scripting and automation skills (e.g., Shell, Python, or Bash).


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• AWS and relevant security certifications are a plus.
